Installed Vista 64bit RTM during the week, was disappointed with Crashes after the inital install and just shit generally not working. Running it on a HP DX5150, with pleanty of grunt. Anyway, Ran up the 32bit version on My Toshiba Tecra S2, and it’s running like a dream, even got Quake3 up and running, after struggling with the in game Gamma in previous versions, i found if you put the following command in “r_ignorehwgamm 1″ gamma comes back up, and if you update your windows gamma, quake 3 runs fine. Q3 also needs to be run as an administrator, but i disabled UAC “User Account Control” anyway. so now that Q3 is running, i can now use vista as my primary OS. Anyway shit to do people to see.
